Luxe-Priced TOO high?

The other day I purchased some lipgloss from Luxe in the starplaza. Their make-up is okay, if you like sparkly, shiny, glamorous things, but why do the prices there have to be that high? I mean, it doesn't make much sense! Every item is ranged from 20 to 24 stardollars, while the competing store (Dot) is ranged from 2 to 9 stardollars. I don't know about you, but I would much rather shop at Dot if I were looking for more beauty products for my medoll. But about a week or two ago, I logged in, and my superstar membership renewed, which meant I got a new room and 200 stardollars. (Yay!) I went to the beauty parlor, and there was a bag there. I wondered what it could be, because I haven't bought any make-up lately. I opened it up to find two new free lipsticks, one bright yellow, and one a peachy pink color. Guess where they were from? That's right, Luxe. I was surprised at this because Luxe let alone all the other beauty stores give any free things to members.
So what do you think? Are the items priced too high?
