Yesterday(Friday March 11th) Japan got a 8.9 earthquake. Because Japan is an island, the earthquake made very very large waves known as a tsunami. Many lives were lost because of this. The tsunami waves will maybe strike Hawaii, the West Coast, and Australia. Maybe, in fact strike the EAST COAST.

Reportedly, one person was swept out to sea.
